You can only conclude by looking at the results of the testing that the GeForce 2 GTS is very powerful new chipset. There definetly is speed and power increase from the GeForce DDR, despite some nasty rumors of a rebirth and remarketing of the GeForcce DDR. With speed increases of 60+% on some resolutions, serious gamers that are looking for a next generation video card should look at the Hercules or other reputable GeForce 2 brand.

The Quaver tests show, however, that perhaps what is needed now is more than 32mb of RAM to run these high-texture settings at the optimal speed. The Hercules 64mb version will be arrive in the labs early next week, so we can compare the intense Quaver benchmark against these results. I have a feeling that the extra RAM will greatly enhance the gaming experience.

But the cost of the 64mb version is steep as well. So the 32mb may be your best option under the financial circumstances you see yourself in. The Hercules get a recommendation from Athlonmb.com. Only if you are waiting for a 64mb version should you pass it by.
