Quake III – Quaver

Quaver is still the test of choice when showcasing the power of a video card. Though the new reference drivers can handle the extreme texture sizes much better, the extra 32mb of memory are still very evident through the Quaver testing.
The gap between the 16-bit and 32-bit results differ a lot at this resolution and the 1600 x 1200 resolution as well.
I am very impressed. Running 1600x1200x32 on Quaver at 51.6 is outstanding, and I have yet to see anything come close to this mark. The 64mb version is now 43% faster than the 32mb GeForce 2 32mb, and 56% faster than the original GeForce.
