As most of you may already know, the A7V is Asus’ third K7 incarnation in an already legendary series of AMD-based motherboard solutions. As we speak, the A7V should be available through the various channels nation-wide. The A7V is interesting in that this is the first time that Asus has fully acknowledged and promoted their AMD product. Reasons for such bold moves are due to CPU’s increasingly becoming a commodity and Intel’s loss of the CPU monopoly has created a tremendous opportunity for Asus and AMD to gain market share from both manufactures and end-users. From the specifications and the driver files on their website to the bright yellow box, is indicative that Asus is proud of their product.
