The Duron running at 800 MHz shows a great ability to pump out the frames in Quake III: Arena. Overclocked 200 MHz to 1 GHz it increases by about 20 frames/per second or a 14% increase. Right between them lies the Athlon Thunderbird 800 MHz processor, coming in at about 6% faster than the Duron.
A similar scenario here. The 800 MHz Duron comes in a 40.1 Winstone points with the 1 GHz version at 47.8. This is a 16% increase in computing, and the Athlon at 43.6 offers an 8% increase over the Duron of the same speed.
