Since the CPU Mark test is an all-round test of the CPU and its architecture, we see expect to similar results of the past two tests; and we do. The Duron 800 MHz and 1 GHz are again 17% apart, and the Thunderbird sees an increase of 8%.
The FPU Mark test is a push of the floating point system of the CPU. It is no surprise then that the Duron and Thunderbird perform identically here. The 1 GHz Duron runs at 23.5% faster.
