For reference, I combined the “Write and Read” results. Overall, the UL3D faired marginally better within Windows2000. The only area of decrease, was at the 16KB and 32KB transfer size.

Minor differences shown here. However, the CPU Utilization of seveenteen percent is unusually high. In contrast, eleven percent within WindowsME is normal. I can only theorize that due to Windows2000’s Windows Task Manager Processes, may have prevented the UL3D from stretching its legs within HD Tach 2.61. Currently ATTO Tech is addressing this issue.

Performance Test now uses 16KB data chunks. Disks with small cluster sizes should notice a significant improvement while disks with larger clusters may see a marginal decrease due to the extra overhead.
