I’m very surpised here. I would expect the 233MHz RISC processor on the eXtreme to produce better results than 28Mbps.

There is almost no performance difference between the eXtreme 2000 and Adaptec’s 2100S; except that there is a $1,300.00 cost difference between the two.

The eXtreme 2000 and ATTO’s UL3D exhibit similar characteristics in performance until the UL3D takes off at the 64KB transfer size.
