The Epox 8K7A took our championship for default 3D Mark 2001 score. The difference between the two combating DDR motherboards is only 2%, but look at the A7V133: 10% behind on the 1024x768x16 test.
Again, the 8K7A takes the 7DXR to school, at least on the FPU memory test. 820 is the highest non-overclocked score I have seen from any DDR-Athlon system. The 8K7A falls slightly behind the 7DXR motherboard on the ALU memory scores, which is odd, but we will see this pattern again later in the benchmarks.
Nearly identical CPU scores across the board here. As this benchmark doesn’t utilize the DDR bus the way others do, the difference in chipsets isn’t shown or demonstrated.
