The Lightscape Viewset (Light-04) is benchmark that tests the lighting effects of the OpenGL API. For more information, visit: http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.static/light.htm. A good 15% gain in the results shows that developers could benefit from DDR in rendering and other 3D lighting intensive production.
Advanced Visualizer Viewset (AWadvs-04) is another 3D modeling benchmark that focuses on geometry and shading. For more info on this, visit: http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.static/awadvs.htm. The gain in performance in negligible as the test relies more on FPU performance than memory performance.
DesignReview Viewset (DRV-07) is a test that uses 3D modeling to test out modeling of structures. More can be found here: http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.static/drv.htm. A slight 3-4% gain is seen here.
medMCAD-01 Viewset is a general set of benchmarks that are used to test generalize the performance of a system for CAD projects. http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.static/medmcad.htm. The results here show a pretty hefty 11% gain in speed on 7DXR motherboard.
