Overall the board has been a stable platform. During testing and just daily use, the system performed well. After a whole weekend of UT, Serious Sam, Nascar4, Photoshop and surfing the web the system is sitting here purring away and waiting for another round of action. Transcend has put together a solid combination of motherboard and memory. Other than the few items I mentioned earlier I really wish there was a way to manually adjust the Multiplier, FSB and Vcore for the processor. I think that this motherboard could run even faster and maybe a future Bios release will allow for more manual adjustments. The Bios update utility is a really nice feature and I wish more manufacturers did this. This feature is not supported in NT or Win2K.I have been running the system for the last couple days with Win2K and it was a breeze to setup and is completely stable. I did notice that there was a loss of 3-5% in performance with the system running Win2K. But with the addition of new drivers I would say it would be up to the Win98se performance soon. If you are looking for a DDR motherboard and would like an alternative to the Via Chipset solution you should add this board to the list of ones to consider. Again this board doesn’t have a very versatile overclocking setup, but it runs stable under all the tests I could throw it’s way.
