The distributed.net client has a built in benchmark, which I used to test these systems. However, when researching the results, I found that in multiprocessor systems, the benchmark only reports the results from a single processor. So, in order to gauge the correct result, the distributed.net site instructs you to multiply your result by the number of processors. As you can, this basically give the Tyan Thunder a 100% gain over all the other Athlon setups out there. The Athlon MP processor even performs slightly better in uniprocessor mode than the Thunderbird.
