The KT266 chipset on the K7T266 Pro motherboard is still a bit behind the AMD 760 based Epox board, just about 3.5% here. The two competing KT266 motherboards are nearly identical.

The memory test is still dominated by the power of the Epox 8K7A. The two KT266 boards trade blows here, but the SiSoft benchmark shows the AMD 760 pulling ahead. Even though this is a purely synthetic benchmark, the numbers give a generalization of the system under ideal conditions.

A clear tie across the board. The motherboard has no effect on the strength of the CPU at the same clock speed. This benchmark is kept in our board tests for reference only. 🙂
