The Duron 1.0 GHz performs admirably and yet the same chip at 1.2 GHz is closing the gap on the Thunderbird processor. If you note the difference between the two CPU scores, you’ll notice that with the Morgan core, the Duron is closer than before to the Thunderbird scores.

The difference between the overclocked Duron and the underclocked Athlon are diminishing even more here.

And finally, we see them gone here. Although, as we know, the real bottleneck here is in the video processor (the GeForce 3) and not in the CPU itself.
