Although Tyan was able to improve the scores of the AMD-760 MP chipset slightly on this single-threaded only application, the Epox motherboard is still coming out farther ahead than I would have liked to see. Do note that basically what you are seeing the use of only a single processor, since the MadOnion labs did not include SMP support on this test.

The Cachemem scores are also very low here. While the two Tyan boards are the same, the original AMD 760 chipset is still showing superiority on this test, which is odd since the SiSoft test shows the Thunder and Tiger so far ahead. Perhaps the SMP of the board is somehow confusing or hurting performance in this test.

A score of 114 in this test is simply awesome! The newest version of ScienceMark did enable support for multiple processors, so that is why we get a decent (but not extraordinary) difference in performance.
