I apologize that the numbers are somewhat difficult to read on this graph, but let me summarize the results: they are close but the Tyan comes in first almost all the time. I do not think Passmark is SMP enabled, otherwise we should see a bigger difference here. The changes you do notice are due to the new Palomino core of the Athlon MP processors.

While the scale of the numbers may tend to set it back, the Tyan Tiger and Thunder boards out perform the Epox single processor board. The SMP ability of the Tyan’s come into a slight effect here, but they are obviously not being taken full advantage of. I think that again we are seeing a lot of this improvement from the new Palomino core of the CPUs.

The first three tests are a single CPU, while the second is for duals. (Hence, no Epox score). Notice the increase from the 1 CPU raytrace to the 2 CPU raytrace. They are fairly dramatic emphasizing the great value for 3D and 2D developers in dual-processor systems, specifically AMD based.
