The KT266A reference board, though performing very well, comes in second here behind the AMD 760 chipset. You know, I have yet to see the crown of the Content Creation test to be taken from the AMD 760 chipset, and I am beginning to wonder if I will! 🙂 There is only a 2.5% difference between the AMD 760 and the KT266A, however.

The boards perform very uniformly here, with the KT266A motherboard barely nudging out the AMD 760 based 8K7A. I am not sure why the new VIA chipset was able to beat the AMD chipset here but not on the previous test, but as this one focuses more on the applications like Word, Excel and other office products, those who do frequent work in them should pay attention
