3D Mark 2001 and SiSoft Sandra

The Shuttle board reaches towards the Epox board score but falls short by about 100 points. The difference is much less in the 32-bit mode. Keep in mind that 100 points in 3D Mark 2001 is basically close to no noticeable difference in speed.

Copied from my last KT266A review:
If there is something odd that you notice about these memory test results, you are correct. The test scores here aren’t as close to the reference board that I reviewed, as they should be. The Athlon Thunderbird 1.4 GHz had higher test results in the FPU memory tests than the Athlon XP. I have been working very closely with AMD, VIA and the motherboard manufacturers to find out the reasoning behind this. As of this time, all I can surmise is that there is a bios code that needs to be changed or that the SiSoft software isn’t talking to the new Athlon core the way it should. Either way, keep checking back at Amdmb.com and I will let you know as soon as I find out anything.Even with that, the memory scores on the Shuttle AK31 Rev3 fall farther behind where they should be. VIA is still working with me on this issue and we plan on having it nailed down early next week.

Straight scores across the board here. Exactly what is expected.
