The only test in this suite that the KG7 falls noticeably behind in is the Light-04 test, which is heavily dependent on memory throughput on the system. The AMD 760 board is 12% slower than the NVIDIA chipset and 8% slower than the KT266A motherboard. On the remainder of the tests, the Abit KG7 motherboard is able to hold its ground.

In this area the KG7 is showing its age. The fact that the AMD 760 chipset is nearly 25% slower on the read tests than the VIA KT266A may turn some heads.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the KG7 did on this test, coming in only a couple of percent behind its farthest competitor.
