The Dragon Plus comes out ahead on this benchmark, but just barely. It’s interesting to not only note the minute differences seen between the two KT266A boards, but also how close in performance the nForce reference board is.

The demos I used for this test are courtesy of Anandtech. Check out their site to download the benchmarks. The two KT266A boards are neck and neck in these tests, once again, and the nForce board is ahead by just about 1%. This test that is based on the Quake III engine shows similar results as the Q3A test. I am testing out a few new benchmarks that I may put in place of or in addition to some of these more repetitive tests.
