This first test for the ECS motherboard shows it just behind the competing KT266A chipset motherboard. This is a trend that we will see repeated throughout most of the benchmarks in our test suite.

The graph above may exaggerate by how much the K7VTA3 motherboard has lost in these tests; the results in the 1024×768 modes are about 2%, which is hardly a number to be worried about.

The numbers here are pretty much dead even. I will soon be upgrading into using a GeForce 3 Ti500 video card for all my tests, so we will see these numbers that depend solely on the video card go up quite a bit.
