SPEC
The Abit KR7A motherboard is coming out ahead of the Soyo motherboard in all the tests. As the SPEC tests demonstrate how the system performs under CAD-like operations, this can be important for many enthusiasts that use their PCs for work as well.
The Soyo and Abit boards trade blows here as Soyo wins the Read and Abit wins the Write test. Well, actually, the MSI board wins the later, for we are directly comparing the two motherboards based on the same chipset.
The Abit KR7A-RAID board can claim dominance on this test, even if it by less than 0.5%. 🙂 The scores are fairly distributed between the boards and show equal speed and power.
