In all three of the test runs, the ECS K7S6A falls behind the competing KT333 and KT266A motherboards. The difference between the SiS 745 and the KT333 at 640×480 is about 13% and the SiS 745 is still behind the KT266A there by 3%. It is interesting to see the SiS 745 chipset only being able to overcome the KT266A motherboard in the 166 MHz memory bus mode.
As the resolution increases, the differences between the boards are minimized as the video card becomes more important in the role of the frame rate.
