With scores very close to each other, both the original and the new 3D Mark 2001 tests from Mad Onion demonstrate a small increase in both the 16-bit and 32-bit modes. A difference of 2.5% is decent for the increase in clock speed. It’s good to see the AMD number increase on this very popular test.

The increases in memory bandwidth are small when going from the Athlon XP 2000+ to the 2100+ processors.

This test is probably the most useful for processors reviews as this is the only funtion of the CPU test. Both versions of the SiSoft Sanrda test are showing that the 3.5% increase in clock speed is actually giving around a 3.5% increase in synthetic performance.
