The MSI KT3 Ultra board and it’s KT333 chipset is able to take 3 out of the 4 SPECviewperf tests by a noticeable margin. In the Light-04 benchmark the KT333 board comes out ahead by over 6% and in the Drv-07 test the KT333 chipset is able to leap ahead by more than 14%! The other two tests show minor increases over the KT266A chipset.
The cachemem benchmark shows a much lower increase in memory bandwidth than the SiSoft test does.
Though the percentages will tell you the KT333 chipset only gained on the KT266A chipset by a small margin, a full point in ScienceMark is a pretty considerable performance gain for a system, overall.
