In the Quake III tests we see that all of the motherboards in contention are holding within 1.2% of each other, except for the ECS K7VTA3 motherboard. I have a strong feeling that the culprit for this drawback is in the bios settings. During testing, running the ECS board at CAS 2.5 and CAS 2.0 gave the same results, leading me to believe that the CAS settings were not functioning properly.
In the higher resolutions, the margins between the boards tighten up and even the ECS KT333 motherboard stays in the running.
