Once again we see that the SiS 746FX chipset just doesn’t have the edge it needs to pass up the latest from VIA and NVIDIA. In the 2002 version of Content Creation Winstone we see that the SiS chipset is about 5% slower.
It’s a different story on the business-oriented tests from ZDNet. Here the 746FX chipset thrives and takes the lead over the KT400A and nForce2 chipsets.
