The SPECviewperf 7.0 suite of test shows the SiS 746FX chipset at the same level as the newly released KT400A chipset but the nForce2 platform with its dual memory channels is still keeping a comfortable lead.

The Cachemem test is much more forgiving to the new SiS chipset, showing it with a healthy 5% lead over the other motherboards on the Read test, but on the Write test it falls much closer to the rest of the results.

All of the scores here are very close and don’t show much difference between the individual chipsets.
