AIDA32 and Cachemem
This content was originally featured on Amdmb.com and has been converted to PC Perspective’s website. Some color changes and flaws may appear.Aida32 is a relatively new addition to our standard benchmark configuration due to its recommendation from memory manufacturers to accurately test memory speeds.
Aida’s results show the boards slightly closer in memory scores, with the MSI and Tyan boards trading punches on the Read and Write sections of the benchmark.
Even the aging Cachemem benchmark shows the two platforms are very competitive, though the Tyan Thunder K8S has a slight advantage. Either score is very impressive compared to current results from Athlon XP setup.
