Both of these synthetic tests show the Athlon 64 falling behind the P4 3.2 GHz. However, notice that the memory scores are much more impressive than the Athlon XP system. Even though the Athlon XP with a nForce2 runs with dual-channel memory, the Athlon 64 out performs it even though it has single-channel memory.
