Probably one of the P4’s strongest benchmarks, the Quake III benchmark is showing that the Athlon FX processor is going to gain ground. While it still falls behind the 3.2 GHz P4’s scores, the Athlon FX is able to topple the Athlon XP 3200+ while running at the same frequency.
