The K7 architecture has always done well in the business applications tests like Business Winstone and the K8 continues this trend. On the 2001 test, the P4 setup would not return results due to some software issue that I couldn’t locate in time for this publication. On the 2002 test, you can see that the P4 falls way behind even the slowest of the Opteron setups shown here.
