There is an interesting trend in these Content Creation tests. In the first test, the 2001 benchmark, the Opteron walks away with the win and sees a small increase in performance when overclocked. The 2002 test shows the Opteron winning again, but by a much smaller margin; however the increase in clock speed does more for the increase in Opteron score than in the 2001 test. On the 2003 benchmark, the Intel P4 processor is able to walk away with a win. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the 2003 benchmark to complete with the overclocked Opteron CPU.
