Applications: DivX Conversion and LAME MP3

This test takes an episode of “The Simpson’s” and converts it to DivX media. The Athlon 64 motherboards do well here, but fall just slightly behind the P4 setup. The Abit motherboard is the best performing of the K8T800 motherboards, by a slim margin.
Here we convert the “A Perfect Circle” CD into 320 kbps MP3 format. The three K8 boards, as expected in this processor/memory dependent test, perform identically.
