AMD Athlon 64 3400+ and 3000+ Processor Review - Processors 29

AMD Athlon 64 3400+ and 3000+ Processor Review - Processors 30

Here we start to see slight differences between the Athlon 64 processors. The 3000+ falls behind by 10% to the 3200+ on the low resolution while the 3200+ falls behind the 3400+ by a similar margin. The P4 processor is dealt another blow here as the 3400+ finally passes it up by a considerable margin.

It is interesting to note that the Quake III benchmark is very memory intensive, as is seen by the fact that the 3000+ falls behind the 3200+ with a lack of 512 KB L2 cache, but only on the lower resolutions.
