Over the holidays this past year, my Secret Santa gave me an M&M Dispenser. It’s really a cool little toy. You press a button and you get rewarded with three or four M&M’s — unless you get lucky and the button gets stuck, in which case you can wind up with a fist-full!
It came with Plain M&M’s, but since I’m a Peanut M&M freak, that tends to be what I stock it with these days. I’ve done the Black & White M&M’s (you know they lost their colors over New Year’s, right?), Valentine’s colors, and just the regular stock colors (although they seem to be brighter than they used to be). Anyway you color them, they’re still good! LOL Once, my team lead provided me with a bag of Crispy M&M’s. I’d never had those before and they were great! I still like my Peanut M&M’s, but I can see the benefit of switching to Crispy’s once in awhile.
However, as much as they are enjoyed, I don’t think I’ll be putting Peanut Butter M&M’s in my dispenser anymore. They tend to get smooshed in the trap door and although they’re well-coated the oil from the peanut butter seeps through them and has wrecked havoc inside my dispenser. It’s going to require some major cleaning once the last of the Peanut Butter M&M’s are finally gone. The only thing left for me to try is Almond M&M’s — I’ll get to them eventually.
I seriously doubt my Secret Santa had ANY clue just how entertaining this little dispenser would be. You should hear the ladies gripe if it only dumps out one or two for them, or squeal with delight when they hit a jackpot of five or six! Who would have guessed this crazy little toy would become so popular in the office? So, if you’re workplace needs a pick-me-up, just find an M&M dispenser and you’ll be set — well, as long as you keep it filled, that is! LOL
Link of the Day: For the next two weeks there will be five Planets arrayed across the evening sky! Certainly worth checking out. 🙂
Missed the last edition of the Inside Perspective? For shame! 😉
