Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz Prescott Processor Review

Professional: Kribibench 1.1 and SPECviewperf 7.1

Another multithreaded application, the KribiBench test for 3D rendering gives the advantage to the HyperThreading on the Pentium processors.  Neither the Prescott nor Northwood has a distinct advantage over the other in this case.

Under the SPECview test, we see the Prescott core take a big lead over its Northwood competition courtesy of the additional cache and instructions.  The AMD FX-53 and the Prescott 3.4 GHz exchange blows here, and both do very well.
