Testing – Physical Weight

One of the basic measures of any ATX power supply is the unit’s overall physical weight.  This may seem rather simplistic but it generally holds that more components and larger heatsinks equal a better PSU.

Each power supply was weighed on a digital balance.

I was surprised to find that all three Seasonic power supplies weighed a little less than an average ATX power supply in the ~400 watt range.  It will be interesting to see if this has any affect on performance.
