BIOS Features (cont’d)
The Abit EQ menu allows you to set your temperature and fan settings in the BIOS.
Here you can set your temperatures to monitor, your shut down temps, beep temps, etc.
You are also able to set shut down and beeps to the voltage monitors as well.
… and also fan speeds.
For the processor, here we are setting individual highs and lows for the fan voltage and temperatures. You can do the same for the north bridge and system fans.
AGP options are seen here and include the standard aperature sizes, fast writes, etc.
These are the memory timings available for tweaking out the RAM on your system. Seen in this pic are the settings we tested at in our benchmarks.
If you would like to, you can adjust the HyperTransport bus speed and even bus width. We have been hearing things in our forums about lowering the HT bus speed back to 800 Mhz allowing for slightly better overclocking.
