Professional: CineBench 2003, KribiBench and SPECviewperf
The multithreaded rendering engine of CineBench 2003 gives the advantage to the Intel processors over the Athlon 64s. However, the difference between the times are getting closer and closer with the FX-55 coming within 3 seconds of the Intel 560. The Cinema4D and the OpenGL tests that are not multithreaded show a speed increase on the AMD side with the FX-55 coming in significantly faster than the best Intel offering.
Kribi is another of the growing number of multithreaded professional applications that once again gives Intel an edge over AMD.
While the FX-55 sees a nice performance boost on the SPEC suite of professional graphic tests, it is still trading blows with the Intel 560 for the performance lead.
