Application: Winstones, Sysmark and Webmark
The AMD processors are once again dominating in the Winstone benchmark results, and the FX-55 processor is about 6% faster than the 4000+ and FX-53, corresponding with the 8% increase in clock rate.
On our Sysmark 2004 results, we see some interesting results. First, the FX-53, 4000+ and 3800+ are all running at the same scores basically, because they are all run at 2.4 GHz. The FX-55 makes a nice jump on the Intel results, actually beating out hte 3.4 GHz EE and 550 processors. The Intel 560 maintains a slight lead.
On our Webbmark test, the FX-55 is able to tie the highest performing Intel processor. Does this indicate an end to Intel’s dominance in Bapco system tests?
