Application: MP3 and DivX Encoding, Data Compression
In both the MP3 and DivX encoding tests we ran, the Intel 3.46 EE processor running at the 1066 Mhz FSB is able to out run the Athlon 64 4000+ platform. The two Intel motherboards are equally matched though when it comes to performance here.
In WinRAR, the story changes and the AMD system shows better compression performance.
