SUNNYVALE, Calif., January 17, 2005 — The HyperTransport™ TechnologyConsortium, a nonprofit industry organization that manages and promotes low-latencyHyperTransport technology, today announced the election of David Rich, Director of BusinessDevelopment and Support, Boston Design Center at AMD, as President of the Consortium,reporting to the Consortium’s Board of Directors. Mr. Rich succeeds Gabriele Sartori, VicePresident of Marketing at Luxtera, Inc., whose term as President of the Consortium ended inDecember 2004. The HyperTransport Consortium also elected Brian Holden, Principal Engineerat the Microprocessor Products Division of PMC-Sierra, Inc. as Vice President of theConsortium.
