Asus P5GDC-V (DDR2) – Pentium 4 560E, 1GB DDR, ATI X700 Pro Asus P5GDC-V (DDR) – Pentium 4 560E, 1GB DDR, ATI X700 Pro Intel 915P + DDR – Pentium 4 560E, 1GB DDR, ATI X700 Pro Intel 915P + DDR2 – Pentium 4 560E, 1GB DDR2, ATI X700 Pro VIA K8T800 Pro – Athlon 64 3200+ (754 pin), 1GB DDR, ATI R9800XT
Nothing terribly shocking or revealing here, all Intel 915 motherboards perform the same since they are all using the same Pentium 4 560E CPU.

In Sandra memory tests the DDR2 configuration of the P5GDC-V performs a bit better than the DDR configuration, but slightly slower than DDR2 performance on the P5GD2.

Like all other Intel 915 chipset motherboards we have reviewed, the Asus demonstrates high latency in memory performance. However, this latency has no effect on performance as we will see in the next test.

Comparing the Asus P5GDC-V with DDR to the ABIT AG8, we can see that the difference is minimal. In DDR2 mode, the P5GDC-V performs similarly to the P5GD2.
