Synthetic – SiSoft Sandra, Everest
SiSoft Sandra 2005
In SiSoft Sandra 2005, all AMD systems perform the same which isn’t surprising since they are all using the same CPU and memory.
Everest Memory Latency
Here we see memory latency independent of the Socket 754 chipset which shouldn’t be too surprising. Since memory controllers are now built into the CPU, you won’t get big variations in performance as we saw a few years ago.
Like the latency test above, memory performance is nearly flat across all the Socket 754 systems. The SiS 760 boards show very slight improvement in memory performance over the VIA K8T800 Pro.
