ATI Technologies, which reportedly is set to roll out its long-anticipated multi-VPU ‘Crossfire’ technology at the upcoming Computex Taipei, may see a boost in its chipset shipments as well, local motherboard makers predict.
The new multi-VPU Crossfire will be a comparable technology to the SLI (scalable link interface) architecture marketed by rival Nvidia. A report from The Inquirer stated ATI will debut Crossfire on June 1 at Computex Taipei.
