X2: The Threat

While in 2001 and 2003 revisions of the benchmark the 820 pulls in the lowest score in the bunch, the 3DMark05 benchmark shows that when a game is very hard on the GPU itself the 820 can still hold its own.  The CPU tests in the benchmark are multithreaded capable as well, and we can see that in the performance gains the 2.4 GHz processor has over similar single core CPUs clocked at over 800 MHz faster.

In our X2 benchmark, the Athlon 64 X2 4400+ would not complete any runs, for whatever reason.  The Intel 820 did bring in the lowest scores of the bunch again, though.
