“C.E.D.I.A. opened a few weeks in Indianapolis, IN, and fostered several themes. The most important themes were: iPod connectivity, HDMI connectivity, and displays (TVs) with resolutions of 1080p. If there ever could be two technologies that are at the opposite ends of the spectrum, it’s the iPod and 1080p displays. The iPod craze is taking over high-end Audio, which seems to me like an oxymoron. Virtually, every AV Receiver manufacturer is now offering iPod connectivity on either the front or back panels of the receivers. Personally, I think its odd, but that’s just me.”
