Guild Wars (Direct X)
Guild Wars is another quality MMORPG from the makers of City of Heroes, only this one is free! Well, you have to buy the game, but still… I have several um, er…friends that are playing this now and it is quite good. Here are the graphics settings we used:
We tested in the opening town where new characters start.
It would appear that ATI still doesn’t have a profile for Guild Wars in their CrossFire drivers as we see a BIG performance hit when enabling CrossFire vs. a single card.
A similar performance hit is seen here as well — it would appear that SuperTiling mode isn’t all it was cracked up to be.
