Card Layout and Included Extras

The XFX 6800 GS card is based on the NVIDIA reference cards with only a fan sheath replacement to give it the XFX branding.

In all outward appearances the GS models look exactly the same as the PCI Express flavored 6800 GT models we had grown accustomed to.  A single slot design with a fan that can run slower (and thus quieter) are the hallmarks of the 6-series design.

The external connectors on the XFX 6800 GS model consist of a standard analog VGA output and a DVI-I output for multiple monitor support out of the box.  The TV-out connection on the left hand side is an S-Video connection.

The back side of the 6800 GS card again looks very familiar with the new PCI Express GPU power connection and low profile capacitors.

The included extras in the XFX bundle consisted of a DVI to VGA adaptor, S-Video cable, power adaptor for older PSUs, driver CD and installation manuals.
