Gaming – Quake 4
The following results were gathered from Quake 4 using a custom timedemo at 1024×768 resolution with High graphics settings. The CPU was underclocked to 2800 MHz (down from 3600 MHz) to hopefully emphasize the effects of memory timings and memory frequency on the frame rate.
Overall the results are quite … unspectacular.

As you can see above, memory timings and memory frequency does not have much effect on the overall performance of the system in Quake 4. Maybe with Call of Duty 2 we’ll see a more pronounced effect.
